How do I mark attendance if I don’t use Zoho People?

If you don’t use Zoho People to manage your HR activities, you can mark attendance for your employees using one of the following two methods.

Import LOP details

You can import a CSV or XLS file containing the LOP details while running your pay run.

  • Go to the Pay Runs tab.
  • Click Create Pay Run or View Details if you already have a draft pay run.
  • Click the Import/Export button.
  • Select LOP Details from the drop down.
  • Upload your CSV or XLS file containing the LOP Details. You can view a sample file to make sure that you’ve entered the data in the correct format.
  • Select the Character Encoding and File Delimiter.
  • Click Next.
  • Map the Zoho Payroll fields with the columns in your import file.
  • Click Next.
  • View the import preview and click the Import button.

Employee-wise LOP days

You can also manually enter the LOP days for each employee,

  • Go to the Pay Runs tab.
  • Click Create Pay Run or View Details if you already have a draft pay run.
  • Click next to the employee name and click +Add LOP.
  • Enter the number of LOP days and click Save.
