What is Labour Welfare Fund and how do I enable it for my organization?

Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) a scheme which ensures social security and improved working conditions for employees. It is applicable only for employees whose monthly salary is ₹15,000 or less. The deduction cycle may be monthly, half-yearly or yearly depending on your state.To enable LWF for your organsiation:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner and select Statutory Components.
  • Switch to the LWF tab.
  • Click the Enable.

Note: You will not be able to disable Professional Tax for your organsiation.

Here’s how you can disable EPF, ESI and LWF for certain employees.

  • Go to Employees in the top right corner and select an employee.
  • In the Statutory Component section, slide the toggle to Disable the statutory component of your choice.
